"Commute"
We’re often on our way somewhere.
On the way to work
On the way to a loved one
On the way to grandma
On the way home
The destination is often the reason for the journey.
In my case, there have been many trips and destinations over the years. Countless hours in the backseat of a car, in a train carriage, or on a plane. The journey itself can sometimes feel like just a stretch of transport — but, as in life, the journey is a vital part of the experience.
There’s so much beauty to take in, if you just lift your gaze and look out.
Meet the eyes you encounter with a smile — and stay curious.
So many places — and so many different ways to live a life. Observing others on their journey can be both enriching and inspiring.
I carry far more memories than photographs.
But the moments captured here have now been given eternal life — or an eternal journey, if you like.
Safe travels.
